Man fatally stabbed, woman slashed in NYC incident with 'blood sprayed on the walls'

A man was fatally stabbed, and his girlfriend was slashed in a violent attack that resulted in "blood sprayed on the walls" of their Queens residence early Sunday, according to law enforcement sources and neighbors.

Police responded to a residence at 101-11 86 Ave. in Richmond Hill around 2:24 a.m. and discovered the 41-year-old man dead from a stab wound to the chest and his 32-year-old girlfriend with a slash on her arm.

The woman was unable to identify the attacker, as per sources.

Orzigul Abdulloeva, 77, a resident in the building, recounted hearing a loud disturbance at the time of the incident. "I stepped out into the hallway with my robe. I heard a lot of noise. I thought someone was moving. There was running, screaming, they were definitely fighting," Abdulloeva said.

The building's superintendent, Slava S., 70, described witnessing the aftermath of the altercation. "I was standing behind the police when they opened the door, and I saw blood sprayed on the walls," Slava stated.

Slava mentioned that he did not know the couple well as they had only moved in two weeks prior.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victims to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where the man succumbed to his injuries. The woman is reported to be in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
