New Mexico residents urged to provide home security footage in search for missing retired Air Force general and UFO expert

Authorities in New Mexico have reached out to more than 600 residents, requesting their home security footage as part of the ongoing search for William Neil McCasland, a retired Air Force general and UFO expert who went missing from his Albuquerque home on February 28.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office disclosed that investigators have contacted over 600 homeowners in the vicinity of McCasland’s residence to collect security camera footage and any relevant information. Despite these efforts, there have been no reported sightings of McCasland thus far.

Local law enforcement, in collaboration with the FBI, has received numerous tips related to the disappearance, although none have led to a confirmed sighting or provided substantial leads on McCasland's whereabouts. Authorities emphasized their commitment to thoroughly investigating every lead they receive.

McCasland, 68, left his phone behind when he disappeared on foot, prompting authorities to issue a Silver Alert for his disappearance. Investigative journalist Ross Coulthart raised concerns about the situation, describing it as a significant national security crisis due to the sensitive information McCasland possesses regarding potential government secrets about extraterrestrial phenomena.

Coulthart highlighted McCasland’s past role overseeing classified space weapons programs at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, where rumors suggest the base holds extraterrestrial debris linked to the infamous Roswell incident in New Mexico.

The disappearance of McCasland coincided with President Trump's directive to the Department of Defense to prepare the release of UFO-related files, adding a layer of intrigue to the unfolding situation. Individuals with any information regarding McCasland are urged to contact the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office's Missing Persons Unit through various channels provided for community assistance.
