Alina Habba, former NJ US attorney and Trump lawyer, leaves wealthy husband for Palm Beach

Alina Habba, the former acting US Attorney for the District of New Jersey and former personal lawyer for President Trump, has recently divorced her millionaire husband after almost six years of marriage. Following her resignation from her role as the top federal prosecutor in New Jersey in early December, Habba relocated to Palm Beach, Florida, near President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort.

Friends of the 41-year-old brunette described her decision to end her marriage with Gregg Reuben as a positive move. Known for her rise to prominence after being hired by Trump in 2021, Habba was praised as a self-made lawyer who persevered to reach the top, a dedicated mother, and someone unafraid to stay true to herself despite personal challenges.

Sources close to Habba revealed that she initiated the divorce while the couple was dividing their time between New Jersey and Florida before reaching a standstill. Described as a strong and decisive woman, Habba was commended for making the right choice for herself and her family.

Despite the split, there is no indication that Habba has entered a new relationship. Friends expressed their excitement for her to find a partner who can match her energy and support her in her endeavors, an area where Reuben seemed to fall short.

Reuben, who made his fortune through innovative parking management businesses, was Habba's second husband. She had previously divorced her first husband, attorney Matthew Eyet, in 2019 and married Reuben a year later. Habba has children with Eyet and became a stepmother to Reuben's son, referring to them as her "three nuggets" on social media.

Currently serving as the Senior Advisor to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Habba oversees all US Attorneys, despite not meeting the qualifications for the New Jersey position. Her friends anticipate a positive new chapter for her in Florida and look forward to seeing her future endeavors.
